Does anyone own this calibre and rifle combination? The ballistics look very impressive, I was looking at the 140 grs load at about 3300 fps. What kind of accuracy should I expect from the STW chambering?

I own a stainless Sako in this caliber and have found its accuracy to be superb using both 120/140 grain Nosler BT and 140 grain Accubonds. Three shots within half and inch consistently, especially with the 120 grain BT.

...or 7mmRUM. Get a spare barrel, or two they will come in handy, I assure you.

I was thinking of using IMR 4350, or IMR 4831 for handloads with the 140 grs Nosler BT. I have seen several reccomendations for H1000, but looks like the velocity suffers a bit. IMR 4831 gives about 80% case capacity, I notice some powders are as low as 70%, I think 80% is a good minimum?

Thanks

Aleko

Ok, now for the scope. I looked at a 10x42 S&B, but the eye relief is a bit shallow. Any suggestions? The new 7x50 Ziess Diatl looks good too, but not avalible in the states! 3x12x56 Diavari?
