I'd like to make a couple of practice targets and I'd like some photos showing wild boar in different positions --- (1) running in different directions, (2) walking thru the forest, and (3) anything else you can think of.

If you can, please send them to me "full-size" as it will make enlarging them easier.

Or does anyone have a link to actual wild boar targets that I could purchase.

My e-mail is dbbill@verizon.net

Bill,

The German Hunting Association (DJV) sanctions the "Official" Running Boar & Standing Boar targets (among others) for their competitions here in The Fatherland. The Running Boar targets come in two versions; for 50 & 60 meter ranges and a Standing Pig 100 meter target. Most retail stores and the larger chains (Kettner & Frankonia) sell them.

To avoid International postage, etc. I'd intially inquire at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado - they amy have them in stock; although perhaps only in the Air Rifle version - Dunno - but an inquiry may be more expedient amd help avoid those outrageous International postage charges.

They also make stickers in corresponding target colors so the shot holes can be covered.

The targets retail in stores for about €uro 4,95 each and the rolls of Pasties are €uro 5,- for a large (several hundred) roll. Plus Postage, of course.

Below is the link from the DJV's website to their Printer - direct online ordering (if you can wade throught the German) is much less expensive than retail.

have three sizes of wild boar targets,

I actually have two of those targets in my office right now.

They are great for real world training.

Best regards Chris
