Me and my number one bitch!!

Dad and the madness with a few birds we picked up in a couple of hours after stalking last january. I had been in the right place at theright time as the ducks flighted out in the morning and I couldn't understand why I wasn't hitting them as they dissapeared over the trees. When the last bunch had gone the dog dived into the spinney and ended up bringing me 12 mallard!! What a turn around of events!!

Probably the wettest days shooting I have ever had. We'd just walked through some waisthigh cover and I have been drier whilst swimming than I was on that day!!

One of the bucks on a norfolk deer farm on the way back from the stags. There are some huge Sika in there too.

Some trout in the smoker. The biggest was over 20lbs but reall too fatty to smoke, but I like the picture.

Arild, does this look familiar?

The trout came from the butcher, who asked me to smoke them for one of his customers. They were all the same size bar one that must have gone about 12lbs, but they had already been poorly filleted. To be honest apart from taking a photo to say "I am a big fisherman", (No jokes please...Wink) I don't see the point in such big stocked trout.

They were far too fatty, and would have been well suited to hot smoking, as Griff pointed out to me.

I have some more pics at home that I will dig up and post of the shoot and some other stuff.
