I am fairly familiar with the Blaser 97, the Beretta Express, Rizzini Express and the Browning Express over and under double rifles. I know Krieghoff makes the Ultra in a double rifle as well.

Any comments? Anyone use a double overunder rifle?

What's a Kriefhoff Ultra cost?
Blaser 97?
Merkel?

I want it in 9.3x74R of course!

If you buy my S-2 it would speed up the process.

I have just purchased a Tikka U/O in 9.3x74R. Haven't tested it out yet so otherwise can't comment.

It is much more utiliterian than some other makers but should still do what I ask of it.

Just curious, why an O/U and not a SxS?

I own a SxS this one.

I never shot it, when I ordered it here in Spain it didn't come the way I ordered it. When it got here I wasn't happy and still am not so I sent it to Westley Richards to sell.

I have a trade worked out for a D99 double rifle drilling in the same caliber or for a S-2 Safari in 375 and some cash.

I would rather sell it though, and spend the money on more hunting.

I guess I never answered your question.

I just like over unders more. I am going to let Westley Richards hold the rifle until January. If nothing happens before then I am going to trade it, probably for the 375 as I know that dealer very well.

I made a post on Zoli doubles about ''what are they like'' and could only get one reply .the same as when i asked about a steyr sbs .So i just bought it ANYWAY !!!! So i bought a zoli 9.3x74 ,havent picked it up yet .Even though i prefer side by sides, it was the right price and i will get a side by side Merkel at a later date.o/u shotguns seem to be the favourite shotgunand, side by sides are the favourite rifle!if you own something different than that people give you a weird look

D99:

Are they taking the double to SCI with them? Make sure you tell them to so to get as much exposure as possible for it.

I had forgot about the show. I should probably let him keep it until after the show.

If he's going to sell it anywhere that's the place.

I used a winchester in 7x57 o/u with a nice claw mount scope it worked was a fine little rifle it put 10 rounds inside 2.5 in at 100 yds five from each barrel it did string up and down kinda like a double sxs strings right and left a little but i like to look across the top of it better stuff just seems to hide behind sxs for me

Had 2 Valmets (4 bbl set 243,30-06, 9.3x74r, 12ga) and a 9.3x74r. Very happy with both. Very accurate and reliable. Had a Win Grand European in 30-06 and it was also a very accurrate rifle
and better looking than the Valmets which were rather plain.
