Hi Solvi

A few guys have mentioned going back to Suffolk, but when I get back I am also checking out some stuff in Portugal which may make an interesting alternative.

I'm heading back out to south Africa on Wednesday and will get some ideas out as soon as I get bac in a fortnight.

One thing is sure and that is that we need to keep the tradition going as it is always great fun. Smiler

Looking forward to some good ideas, Wink

but Suffolk is not the worst place for a recurrence.

I might emerge from suspended animation and steal a weekend in the UK but I'm still locked in to the longest house move process of my life at the moment.
I'm just shooting my client's problem animals and haven't even booked any game shooting this year.

Any more thoughts about Portugal? I will probably be there in January or Febuary. If not, I might try something by myself, and let you know how it turns out. Would like to try my first driven hunt in the next year or so.

Gentlemen,

If there is interest in a group AR hunt I can arrange a roe buck hunt in France. July/August dates would be idea. Depending upon the group size and requirements we can arrange accomodation ranging from decent to luxurious! Food and wine is great and the hunting is very good. Pricing is fixed not based on size.

Let me know if I can be of assistance

I'm off to Portugal on Sunday for a week of red stag and wild boar hunting.

Once I checked out the set up then they have a short notice boar hunt on offer, (details to be agreed but it should be good).

I spoke to the estate in Suffolk on Saturday as we were stalking there and it looks like we can follow the same format as last year if here are any takers. Deer population is as large as ever with four guns shooting twelve muntjac before calling it a day. Everyone could Havel shot more.

Rgds,
K

Fallow Buck,
I have no concrete plans for Jan.yet. Was hoping to combine a weekend of hunting boar with my other activities. I would enjoy meeting some European AR members. My goal is to do some kind of hunt in Europe every other year. If there is no organized AR driven hunt in January, I will probably look into Shakari Connection opportunities.

Ok Guys,

I have pencilled in the 15th to the 17th Feb for this years festivities.

Pricing will be finalised today or tomorrow. We are looking at the three outings with two nights full board accommodation. Sunday will probably be the driven hare shoot as an optional extra. I will see if those not shooting hares will be able to add an extra outing on the Sunday mng.

Pigeon shooting will be available prior to the hunt for those that want to extend the duration, as will additional stalking for Chinese Water Deer and Red Deer nearby.

Full details will be posted shortly. Thanks for your patience.

Rgds,
K
