Just got a call telling me the game fair has been cancelled.

The North yorkshire agricultural show has also been cancelled so a lot of traders that depend on these shows for their living, will struggle this year.

If you look at what the Grand Prix turned into the other weekend, it doesn't surprise me.


I'll go and look at the CLA Web site.

We have had a phenomenal amount of rain and the grounds would get destroyed by the traffic. It was also cancelled due to rain a few years back.

There have been several cancellations this season.

Do the exhibitors get their money back or a freebie next time?

You'd think in the 21st century, they'd have a covered venue & hard surface parking for at least part of the show.

Mind you, I haven't been to a GF for over a decade so maybe they have!

I think it is time the CLA took a show space at the XL Centre or some such in a similar way to the SCI type shows.

I have been told we will get a refund.

Yup, the UK climate isn't best suited to an outdoor show of that size..... I certainly wish you luck on getting your money back..... I haven't had many dealings with CLA but from what little I have, I found them an arrogant and tight fisted bunch of bastards!
