Fallow BuckOur New Roe Ground
Hi all,
We just picked up a new piece of roe stalking adjoining our current lease which several of you have been on. For those that know the ground it is much lower, less treacherous and the summer bracken cover is less than 8 ft tall!!
Anyway we went out at the weekend to have a poke about and see what was happening and I thought I would share some pictures. I'm hoping to get a look about in the autumn as there is a good probability of some reds on the higher grounds so watch this space.
We marked another half a dozen bucks that were not for shooting just yet with two that are medal class animals but were still in velvet so it will be an exciting year!!
Regards,
Kiri

They are a varied bunch of trophies (I think there are 5 different bucks in the pictures). The bigger animals were still in velvet so they got a pass this time round.
We don't get the monstrous big bucks that you see on the downs in the south but good representative animals are our mainstay.
With the increase acreage (now up to 20,000 acres) I am looking forward to seeing what we can do to better the trophy quality of the herd.
Regards,
K

Cazador humilde'Still need a roe buck in the worst way.
In the future, please refrain from including pictures of that poor, love-sick bastard in your offerings. 'Doesn't help business. Cheers.

Hey mate, I hope you are well. We have a little space during the rut for the roe if you can make your way over?
Griff is very excited about the possibilities for the new ground.
