Should gun laws be relaxed to allow sporting shooters to train in Britain?

Doesn't seem to be much of a contest - but I submitted my "yes" vote nonetheless. In fact, what a pity that the poll was not about

quote:
Should senseless and ineffective gunlaws arbitrarily managed by inconsequent police constables be totally abolished, and the people finally be allowed to hold firearms for the protection of their families and property??

But I guess that would be a bit much to ask for?? After all, the police is there to protect people when it really matters, right?? Besides, we know that if gunlaws are strict, then criminals won't have access to firearms, correct??
