I'm betting you can't top all five in one session!

bait them out from the hedge and hit them with the 22lr in sub-sonic's. If you nut them then the others generally think they have just gone to sleep and hang about.

I got three out of three like that last week.

Unless you have chickens or ducks in your office you are trying to protect, I see no reason to kill them. They primarily eat mice, rats and voles anyway, do they not?

Doubless,

The answer to that would be a resounding "NOT"

Indeed, the only good fox is a running on borrowed time fox.

The suggestion to use a camera as a ruse to get close was a good and imaginative one Anders, but it gets expensive bludgeoning them to death with quality kit.

Yes, but the also kill a lot of roe fawns, hare, partridge, rabbit, pheasants and many other species like ground nesting birds.

Here, since the big campaingns against rabies where they started to vaccinate these cuddly little critters, their number has multiplied by 10.

Once I personally saw how a fox killed a roe fawn. The mother stood only a couple of meters away but could not do anything. Since roe fawns don't have smell, the foxes just follow their mother's milky tracks.
