If the seals in Norway are behaving similarly to the Australian fur seals then shooting them wouldnt provide any challenge, hence my harvesting comment. On the other hand I havent even been to Norway and I should probably keep my big mouth shut.
Cheers

Do you hunt seals in Australia? If theyr not hunted maybe their not afraid of people. In Norway, their afraid and there is a problem getting in range when they are spotted. So you need to hunt them. Most people that dont hunt seal, do believe its quite easy. You can often see them, and it seems easy, but when you got a rifle and intend to shoot some seals, they are long gone...

hmm, what do I need to bring a gun into iceland and go seal shooting? That sounds like a far more fun Euro trip.
Most people go to Europe to see castles and art,
imagine telling work, "I'm taking two weeks to go Iceland, I'm going hunting for seals and walrus!" Iceland is a must on my list, remote country, glaciers, nice scenery, and, free ranging seal hunting!
