Hi guys, went out to the Czech Rep on the 26th December, returned on the 30th. Game was a bit thin on the ground this year, a lot less deer and boar around than last year.

One of those last hour of the last day cliche's, whacked this boy just below the left ear at about 3.00pm on the 29th December, he was about 40 yards out motoring through the trees:

Had a pretty good time all things considered.

Congrats! Looks pretty much the same size than my first one from Estonia last August. They seem to have more snow in Czech than we have here at the moment (=none).

The climate all over Europe is completely messed up at the minute. It was 12 Deg C here in Ireland yesterday.

In the Cz rep in the first week in January last year it was -5 during the day and -15 at night. Just this week they had +13deg in the day time. Almost 20 deg shift. Crazy.

There was a small amount of snow on the night of the 28th Dec. That was the first snow this year. Same time last year - 90cm.
