Was the hunting very different to roe deer stalking in Germany?

Thanks. I wouldn't call it different than stalking in Germany, however the population in Germany is much greater so the opportunities are fewer. Germany is basically a high seat operation other than a few remote areas where stalking larger tracts is possible. In the area of France I hunted, I didn't see any high seats, so it was all stalking, and very few joggers, bicyclists, hikers, etc. were seen.
