does anyone else in the UK have trouble getting
the components they want for reloading?
i"m in Northern Ireland, and apart from the hassle we have in getting the stuff into the country(ferries don"t want to carry it), i find that even bigger mainland dealers don"t have basic supplies like bullets and powder.
i have a couple of "pet loads" with hornady and sierra bullets, but certain wholesalers can"t seem to be bothered to stock simple components.
anyone else having this trouble?
good shooting

Seems like powder has had a fair price hike - due to increased costs for secure carriage. I use the Sportsman for most things - generally manage to produce what I require - time taken for special orders can vary however!!

Brass Thief,

I take it that a lot of the difficulties you have are to do with recent history and attempts to curb the use of firearms.

I do not have any trouble getting the necessary components, nor I suspect does anyone else over here, providing they have the required certificates.

Have you considered casting your own bullets or is this frowned on as well. It still leaves the problem of powder and primers, but, it is one less hassle for you.

Stick with it, do you expect things to improve following the recent news about decommisioning of arms.

All the best.

John
