Here is an interesting story: A dead wolf was found in Hanstholm in a nature reserve in North Jutland – hence it is the first time in 199 years that wolves in the wild are found in Denmark. The dead wolf was severely emaciated when found Nov. 16 – it weighed less than 35 kilograms – and only after an autopsy it is now clear that there really is a wolf. The survey also shows that wolf DNA is fully consistent with the German wolf population that lives south of the Danish border. http://www.timberwolfinformation.org/?p=14571

Some dog genes are common among wolfes. Germany will soon have the same problem as in the northern europe.
