I apologize if this has already been covered, but I was unable to find anything relevant utilizing the search function. Anyhow, I'll be in London in early December. My research indicates roe and red deer season will already be closed at that time. Is there anything else worth hunting in early December that's not too far from London? If so, I'll be looking for an outfitter that can accommodate 2-3 hunters.

The deer season is never closed in the UK, there are always some species of deer available to shoot. In England in December all hinds and does are in season as well as red stag, Sika stag and fallow buck. Also have a look at the BASC web site for complete information as the season,s are different for England and Scotland. Regards V V

This is something I could help with WBT. Hunting is conducted around an hour north of London and you will have additional opportunities for Reeves Muntjac and Fallow deer in the same area. Estate rifles ( our term for loan firearms) are available if you are not travelling with your own firearms, Will PM you and we can discuss your requirements. Just taking my rifle for a walk!........

WBT, I could have suggested a couple of bits for you but in all honesty I couldn't beat what Ian will offer you in terms of the CWD and additional species he has for a group such as yours out for a single day or two. You will be in very good hands with Ian and the Chinese Water Deer is a very special trophy indeed. Best regards, Kiri
