The progression is from the original 11.15x60R Mauser to the 11.2x60 Mauser [rebated rim, 332 grain @ 2200 fps] to the 45 Blaser also rebated with similar ballistics. Like a hot loaded 45-70. Good for red deer and pigs .

Anyone have any experience with this cartridge? I am thinking about adding a barrel for it to my collection but I will have to take on quite a few pieces of brass before I move back to the states as no one stateside is importing it.

I was thinking it would be perfect for wildboar at night. Should stop them in there tracks.

Also how does it feed in the R93?

On the question of brass or cases, depending on what you call them. Where can I order them online in Europe? I want to get 200 pieces of 9.3x64 and .45 Blaser for the barrels I am going to buy. We don't have much in the way of either caliber in the states.

Blaser ammo is not imported to the states. SIG USA isn't licensed to import ammo.

I have spoken [in person] to the Blaser people twice regarding this cartridge. Once to the people from Europe [again in person]when they were visiting the US. They have no plans to import the 45 Blaser, barrel or ammo. I think this is a shame as it would make a great pig/black bear etc. rifle.
It is designed from the ground up to feed in the Blaser.
It has a long neck, and the rebated rim is the same as the 9,3x62 so you do not need a new bolt head.
Maybe if several others contacted SIG USA, and Blaser Germany as well as local Blaser dealers it might change their minds.
Another option is to get a 375 H&H Tracker barrel [19 3/4" with iron sights], very handy in the thick brush for pigs.
