Once more the SW BDS are holding an open range day, this time at Zelah range (north of Falmouth). Please drop by on Saturday the 23rd June - the more the merrier. Non members are very welcome. Bring your lunch and refreshments.

The day will include a zero session, a field shooting positions 'clinic' and a light hearted pool shoot to finish.

The idea behind the clinic is to review the essential marksmanship principles, as well as the wide variety of shooting positions that can be employed once away from the bench and into the field. Correct usage of improvised rests - such as bipod (long and short), tripod & single stick. Employing the sling for more than just carrying the rifle etc, etc.

All are topics that will maximise your opportunity for an accurate and quick first round hit - on target!
