Hi guys
Quick report from the pub Smiler
I'm doing a combined hunt and holiday in the UK with Kiri. Great fun every day!

Started off in Bedfordshire where we were after the CWD. Shot a gold medal first day out and my girlfriend shot a cull buck. Her first animal ever! Smiler

Been doing rough shooting and driven hunts. Mostly as a camera man. Getting a lot of good footage!

Also managed to bring down a fallow buck the other day. Not a big one, but my first fallow buck, so it was all good. Will make a report with pics and videos when I return to Norway next week Smiler

Here's some photos of the hunt.

My CWD gold medal, shot with Kiri and Peter Trew in Bedfordshire.

My g-friend Sandra got her first animal ever on this trip. She made a perfect shot on this fellow from 112 meters.

I took this young fallow together with Kiri at his place. We were actually on our way to a highseat when we jumped him.

We also did quite a lot of bird shooting. For my own part I did control the video cam for most of the time, but I also got to shoot some birds. What a great 12 days over there!

No time at the moment for video editing, but hopefully I'll be able to put something out before Christmas. Smiler
We're trying to get enough footage in the next coming years to make a DVD or two of UK hunting Smiler

Anders,

Waidmannsheil, to you & your Lady Friend!

Good talking to you & Kiri the other day, give us the full run-down when you get the chance.

Let's face it; it's pretty difficult NOT to have fun when you're being led around by Kiri.

Anders,
Good to meet you again at Blackham.
A gold medal buck straight off! How lucky can you get?
It was nice to catch up a little and I'll look forwards to viewing your video!

Hey guys,

We've had a good bit of fun over the last week or so. The CWD was great and Sandra put in an excellent shot right at last light to get her first ever game animal.

We've managed to get some good footage of all the different types of hunting we've done so I'm also looking forward to seeing the DVD edited up.

Anders especially got some great footage of a Muntjac doe that came and sat in front of his stand for 40 mins one morning. He refrained from shooting it as he was after a very big buck that had been seen there the day before. I think he was pleased not to have taken the shot when he saw the video!!

Brian, you will be pleased to hear that everything has been shot with the 260. I think it might become a prerequisite in the future!!

Anyway I'm off to get Anders and head up to the auctions for the day and a tour of some gun stores.

Rgds,
K

Gerry,

Every time you and I start talking about bouncing then it becomes unfit for public consumption...

Best nip it in the bud mate. Wink

Kiri, glad to hear the mouse gun get's it done again.

By the way, if you are going up to Gavin Gardner's auction, try and buy lot 177 for me. I would stretch to about a grand for it...... There is a good dinner in it for you if you can get them at that price.. Big Grin

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Had fun at Blackham and I'm really looking forward to seeing the footage (I hope you can see some falling birds through all my blackpowder cartridge smoke)! lol

Bill you tart - you ruined all the footage yelling "did you get that?" We'll have to re- shoot using professionals!

Really nice to meet you again guys! It's really been a great 12 days. We're leaving for Norway this evening. I've got lots of footage, and I'll try to put something together before Christmas Smiler

Think there's some really decent driven shooting action in that footage, and you Bill, are one of the selected few for the red carpet Smiler And like Kiri said there's a muntjac doe that actually seems to be a muntjac-cwd hybrid Big Grin More about that later.

Thanks again for some great days everyone, and good luck in the auction Dig!

Bill, I'll bet it wasn't as good as that one you did with your muzzle loader in Jones's two weeks before. That was a cracker!

Glad to see you've managed to get Sandra out hunting now, Kiri runs an excellent show and there is no question a good time would have been had by all.

Look forward to seeing the footage too.
