I've been doing a lot of research on this forum and others for a European trip next fall with three friends.

I'm a guide and outfitter here in the US, but I have no international experience.

To narrow it down:

1. We are looking for a mult-species hunt
2. We are leaning toward a continental hunt, possibly Eastern Europe
3. We can only speak our mother tongue passably so somewhere that speaks English better than us is probably necessary
4. We would like to consider bringing our own firearms

Hopefully AR can give me some guidance as to reputable outfitters and regions.

Tony

I have had great experiences in Romania with Unforgettable Hunting. There are several species to hunt, bringing in your own firearms is not difficult. Horia Sandu speaks English and posts in the Outfitters forum. (Actually, I think most outfitters catering to foreign hunters will have someone who speaks it.)

If interested of hunting in western part of Europe, Portugal can be a great destination.
You can hunt different species, small and big game.
No problem with English.
No problem to bring your own firearms.
Very nice prices, game, food, wine and friendly people.
Can give you detailed information.

Portugal and Romania are excellent choices, depending on what your priorities are for your hunt.

Feel free to PM me for more details.

It is possible to hunt here in Germany in the public forests. Hunting red deer, wildboar, roe deer and....
Hunting in old kind of german hunting Tradition!

If you want to go to eastern europe, I have own experience in Hungary and croatia.
Hungary, old member of the K&k-monarchy, has nearly the same hunting Tradition like Germany and Austria, prices are not on the cheapest site, but excellent prof. hunting guides, very good trophies (red deer, fallow deer, wildboar, excellent food...

Croatia at the Adrian coast excellent hunts for Mufflon! Phantastic area!

English no Problem in Craitia, in Hungary german is preffered!

Once again, thanks for all of the responses.

I'm coordinating with 3 other hunters and our wives so as you can imagine the process is laborious.
