I'd like to do some hind/cow elch, doe hunts next November. If you know of any good deals key me in. It needs to be someplace where I can rent/borrow a rifle. Hopefully a Blaser!

As the damn Italians won't let me have one here.

UK, Scandanavia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe doesn't matter.

D99,

Most of the scottish estates have a decent hind stalking to let at reasonable rates. You might even get some Roe does too if they are available. Try any of the estates in the Cairngorms as they are easily accesible from Inverness. Rifle hire shouldn't be too much of a problem.

D99,

I came accross these that you may want to look at.

Hind Stalking

Also if you try:

Safri In Scotland

I have never dealt with either of these although I spoke to the second one a couple of years back about woodcock shooting. He seemed very aimiable.

In the cairngorms that I mentioned originally is Stratspey estate. I have fished there and dealt with the office a couple of times and they are very professional.

Others may have already dealt with these operations for stalking and could give you a better idea.

Some places now only allow one hind per day on the price so shop about to get the best deal.

Hope this helps,

rgds,
