The genuine joy and happiness is something you can’t fake, notice at the end of the clip, he bend to the pray and gives it a kiss. And the pride of his father laughing in the background, I think his pride is no less.

Pure awesomeness. Note the kid has been taught safety skills well; muzzle up and safe, even while empty, hand shaking in excitement and dirty faced, handing it off to papa before barrel-arsing over to his prize. Brilliant clip!

P.S. Can anyone translate? I can figger some of the stuff, like when he tells the lad to pick it up by its hind legs, but am just curious. TIA for any of our members who might. Is that the boy's first kill? Not important, as someone said, you don't need to understand the language to understand the joy, but am curious.

It starts with the hare runs down the hill and the father says shoot shoot.

boom boom

Son: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!

Son: ta han, ta han ( take it take it, he wants the father to hold the gun).

Father says: Hold him in his backlegs

Son screaming: YEEES ! YEES !

Father says: You need to kiss him now.
