I wondered if there was a way we could keep abreast of the rapid development that is occuring in this field here on AR.

Gone are the days when it was a reflex or nothing.... it seems everyone is getting on the bandwagon now.

Any chance of a sticky with names, specs and some photos?

Here are what I am aware of currently

Reflex
ASE
PES
Wildcat
Vaime (yes that old soldier)
JLS copy of Vaime
Law Enforcement International (LEI)
ATEC
Stealth
MYM (the stainless copy of a reflex from Border)
Quicksilver Titanium

To be honest I don't really want to get the top of the forum too cluttered with "stickies" and I am not 100% sure that "Sound Moderators" properly comes under the remit of "European Hunting"???

How about I ask Don or Saeed to set up a seperate specialist forum??? It might attract wider interest that way as well?

The early Wildcats were very poor in comparison to T8/T4s, but the latest are far superior to them now, fully dismantlable, & some fine stainless engineering in the baffle unit. BOOM

Just bought this one,
http://www.alms.no/index.cfm?id=106941
tried this morning and was pleased with it. The only problem is that I was told when I bought it that the treads where ½ “UNF, but thankfully before I made the treads on the barrel I tried a cutter in it and found out it was 14- 1.5.
But I went on, and this morning I shot it and it was great.
The rifle is a Remington SPS Varmint in ´308 that my wife gave my for Christmas, to take to Baldock.

Solvi,
I've got an ASE moderator on my .308 and I'm going to Baldock so it will be interesting to do a comparison if we get the chance.
