If it's only cosmetic, why not shop for a bargain ?

I have to be honest and say that although I like the Z6's that I have, I'm not so enamoured with them that I would put them at the top of my purchase list any more.

My 3-18x50 I'm struggling with on the eye relief and how at higher than 10-11x mag you need to have a very specific cheek weld to get a clear picture.

The 1-6x 24 however is awesome so I may be arguing with myself here depending on the type of use... Smiler

I do like the Z3's though.

I don't know guys but Z6 didn't impress me so I'll stick with Kahles and S&B.
They are just more reliable.
The last problem we had on Z6 was the focus piece was loose. On the other two the crosshair didn't move as it should. 1/4" on 100yards was actually 1/2".

If it's you shooting on the video, you might try to switch to scopes... Wink

I agree - have fallen out of love with my Z6i too for the same reason.

The only real problem I have with my Z6i is that it is too easy to knock the switch to the on position.
If you don't notice you end up with a flat battery.
Its happened to me three times now.

I have one of the first 2-12x50 z6 scopes. Quite a few years now. It's still brilliant and responds very accurately on adjustment.
