i have a chance to buy a schmidt & bender telescope that is 15-60x60 I htink?

I didnt know they made these. How is the quality? how old might it be, or when diud they stop making them?? It comes with a leather carrying case and has a socket for tripod.
I was thinking of using it as a spotting scope..

thanks

Never heard of S&B making anything but rifle scopes, no binocs, no spotting scopes. But then again, I could be wrong?? Is this a "typical" European spotting scope, that pulls out to full length? Those scopes can be of good quality, but they tend to be heavy and hard (impossible) to make air and water proof.

Sorry not to be of more help.

S&B Contacts

Open the page of the contacts desribed above, and ask directly to them, even if I don't remember that telescope. They are very kind. I met Ing.H. Bender at IWA show some year ago, and I have a very good memory of these meetings.
