Anyone have a good idea of what to expect on an ibex hunt in Spain? What are the "bests" and the "worsts" of a hunt there? Would you do it again?
THanks

You should contact Montero from this forum who runs a booking agency in Spain called Camino Real. He specialises in Ibex. I have hunted with him (mouflon and chamois) and had a great time - very professional outfit.

I'll second that and reccomend Montero as a contact. I used hime for a hunt in the past and he has reall y earnt his money!! We had soe issues with the PH and that is when a good Outfitter shows his worth and Alvaro was very good.

Hi

Expect a great experience. Expect to see good number of animals. And you will meet some very nice people in Spain.

Worst case, if you are as unlucky as I were, they can have bad weather and it is mountains, so fog isn't the best to have.

Try and go when the Ibex are rutting as well. I went sometime after, and i would suspect that in the rut, it would be even better than after.

Best of luck
