I've recently seen that Pecar scopes are being imported into Australia again. They got a good write up in the latest magazine (they would though, wouldn't they?). I have an old one with 26mm tube on one of my rifles but didn't even know they were still being made.
Does anyone know about these new scopes? What is the quality like etc? The prices quoted in some ads were quite up there. Comparably priced with Kahles and Doctor Optic and more than Leupold.
I'd be interested in any feedback from anyone who knows of these new Pecars.

pecar have quite a good reputation here in the UK as solid and good quality. They even have interchangable reticles. Until fairly recently both the Forestry commission and the police made extensive use of Pecar scopes on their stalking/sniper rifles respectively.
