Anyone tried to import rifles from Russia?

I want to buy some of these Russian 9.3x64 rifles to sell.

9.5 cm at 100 meters doesn't sound too impressive IMO...

I can tell you however that importing hunting rifles from Russia is not an easy matter. My cousin does so (the Molot Vepr semi-auto rifles++), and I know that it's a lot of hassle. As I believe importing pretty much anything from Russia is. Frowner

I'm not saying that you should give up the idea, but be aware that it's not like dealing with a European gunmaker! Wink

Probably not worth the hassle.

I think this gun was offered to the old Baikal importer in the US, I don't know what ever came of it. I think our import regs for Russian Sporting guns are actually the same Form 6 as it would be from anyother country. It just gets a bit tough with semi autos.
