Go to the jagd (hunting) museum. it's in the walking are by the old town hall (alt rothaus)you can't miss it there is a big bronze of a wild boar in front of the door and then to the Deutscher museum by the river. Stop off by Hofbrauhous for a beer and lunch then head over to Frankonia jagd.

I did what Akshooter suggests and it was great. Except I did Frankonia, (great Fal Raven Jacket) the museum then Frankonia again!!!

The Museum is an absolute must. Just make sure you have a couple of hours to wander about unhurried, because there is heaps to see.

Forgot to mention there is also a kettner there.
If you can travel a hour os so south maybe a little more. The wood carvings at Oberammergau
have alot of hunting depictions. You know you must bring your wife home a present from Bavaria and it might as well be a wood carving of a hunting scene.

The Christmas market will be going on during your visit. Get a grilled porksteak sandwich near the ice skating rink and do not miss the warm macroons near the city hall in one of the food booths.
