Shot my first roe deer for this year yesterday evening: having just one antler and was Standing suddenly 30m beside me... The Blaser K95 in 6,5x57R with 100grs Nosler BT performed well and banned him on the spot... :-)

Brave Bock. Waidmannsheil! Where in Germany did you take him? Looks like an old fighter.

Waidmannsheil! Very nice sixer, and a great way to begin the season.

Congrats with the first of the year!
I am jealous.
I still need to wait 3 more months before I can start hunting them again.

Don, that's Waidmannsheil on the 3 Pointer, or a helluva unique 'ungerade Sechser'!

Well done Klaus. Is that a lump where the other antler was, removed from a fence or car injury or something, or did it just 'grow' that way?

WaidmannsDank!

Yes, it´s 1st of May to start the roe deer season and it goes until 15th of October here in Hessen (central part of Germany)...

No idea where the buck lost the other antler - he was middle in the hunting area, where are no cars or fences... So no idea!

Very nice and a unique trophy to boot.

You will shoot bigger bucks but none will be greater.
