We have just returned from our little jaunt around Rome and Paris, we visited a friend in Rome to sort out our Wild Boar hunt for later on this year(excellent). My good lady wife came along and into the bargain we had to have a day in Paris. So she dragged my sorry ass round Paris, We went everywhere! We were just about to leave for the Airport after visiting the "arc-de-triomphe" when I spotted a familiar name,KETTNER!! Salvation at last, revenge is sweet. Here face changed from a smile to a scowl and mine the opposite..
What a shop!! well worth a visit, rifles by Blaser/ verney carron/sauer/chapius the list was very comprehensive and they were a delight to talk to.
All the reputable clothing manufacturers and SEATS!!
So for any of you who have to endure shopping in Paris head for the Palais De Congres (port malliot)passed the"arc" just down one of the streets "bvd pershing"you are about 500yds from Salvation!!

jon1,
parcel arrived today, anything to do with you!!!
many thanks

regards
griff

You should have stayed an extra day or two. The International Hunting Show in Rambouillet started yesterday and ends on Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing jbderunz, edmond, boghassian, et al.

I think Paris (and Rome) are nice to visit.

Not far from where you were was the Paradis Latin (I think) which was also nice to visit. Smiler
