Hi, I wonder whether some of you use the South African Impala bullets on European game like roe deer. I would like to read your experiences!

Not sure if we get much in the way of South African ammo in the uk. I have just looked at the impala website. I would guess effect on a roe buck would be pretty similar to a springbok - they are about he same size.

Non toxic bullets are being used in the UK. Many conservation agencies are beginning to insist on them, especially if carcasses will be left on the mountains to feed re-introduced sea eagles. They do seem to get somewhat mixed reviews depending on who you talk to. But then the same can be said of just about anything shooting related - or for that matter anything mechanical related.

Impala is very accurate.
Most of the bucks after the shot go for 30-100m before they drop down. The blood trail size is OK but sometimes it begins after 20+m.
