Not in the same league numbers wise, but I thought you might be interested in a few that I have managed to get in contact with.

This was my contribution to last nights tally of three. Taken off the sticks at about 100 yards.

Hansome brute. The fox was in great shape too.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Good hunting there, perhaps a bit lesser a photo,

I was out last night, saw two house cats out hunting, nothing more that was in season.

Yes the cats are still alive.

Best regards Chris

Nice going Brian

What is the call dangling round your neck?

Does it work well?

It actually looks frosty where you are? Big Grin

Jon, the call is a WAM and is excellent. It is all we ever use these days, you can buy them for a tenner on ebay. It seems to be particularly good in the last hour of light. I called that dog fox out of some cover and in to about 100 yards. It was a pretty calm night. Not ideal conditions.

It had been pissing with rain most of the day yesterday. It cleared about 8.30pm and turned quite chilly. We had to come down off the higher ground because mist cut the visibility away down. I got to bed just after 3.00am this morning, I am knackered and I have to take the wife out tonight.

Thanks Brian

I will have a look.

I think Nightwalker has the the ultimate nowhow but I will try the tenner option on ebay.

Hope you are not too knackered after a night out socialising with the wife.

Cheers

Jon

OK

All you guys with your reports have had mee going nuts for getting out and so I was out saturday and sunday,

saturday was huge dissapointement, had one fox out but missed, overshot, poor marksmanship.

Had to get out and even the score a bit, went out last evening too, at 9:45 I broke and left the stand, at 9:47 while trying to gather up my kit I got that "feeling", no not that one, the "spider sence feeling" turned, owerlooked the field and there it was a some 70 meters out, I was already half sitting as I turned and as I saw the fox I slumped down in a "rice paddy squat".

The fox froze as I turned and the shot rang out swiftly, a small female, a "bitch" right?

Season is now officially open.

Best regards Chris

Good going Chris,

I know that sixth sense feeling very well!!

The term "we" would probably use is "dog" and "vixen". A vixen is worth 4 dogs in my opinion!

The old tin whistles have served me well CB, but I am absolutely loving the remote FoxPro caller effect now.

I am now waiting for the next wave of big cubs to surge onto my ground!!

Regards NW

Guys, great hunting/shooting.

I really enjoy hunting/shooting the "little" game, both here in the US and in Zimbabwe.

Well Done. thumb
