Alex,
I believe the 170 has a 100w 12V bulb as standard so given that Watts =Amps x Volts, it should draw around approx 8.5 Amps...

Regards,

Pete

Just as a guide for you, Flyboy .270 & myself operate the largest blitz lamp from the vehicle battery, most of the night without running the motor , never experienced any battery drain problems, Steve in Chester. wave

Hi Jacobs!, We usually park up in a well used position that gives us a minimum 180 degrees out to 700/800 metres, usually elevated also, once in situ nothing moves except for the bolt, & the hands on the watch! BOOM

In my small experience they are also habitual in their routes & timings , also having a couple of thou geese in pens tends to gravitate them in our favour! Big Grin
