as far as I am aware there are no "off the shelf" cold storage units available for the small domestic user. I have seen diy projects that are basically a well insulated block built room in a suitable area in the home (garage / shed) The refrigeration is taken care of by a domestic fridge, which has been stripped out, leaving only the motor and refigerant / heat exchange conduits. A bit heath robinson. May be an idea, if you have the space to obtain a 20 foot chilled container of the type used to transport meat? They can be converted to run on 240v I don't know whether this is possible at your abode. The other way is to have a custom built cold room and processing area such as those installed in commision areas - expensive!

Godd luck - Andy

Quite often on e-bay. Plenty of butchers shops and hotel kitchens have walk-in cold stores.
ps. refrigeration engineers rate alongside solicitors, accountants and main car dealer workshops for disproportionate charging .

I saw an ad for what was described as a "box body chiller unit" in the local agricultural news letter (Jewry Agricentre - maybe you get that down your way too). Cost was 1,000. I dare say is would suit the semi-commercial stalker or someone with a few sheep.
