Top: Swedish hunters association webcamera: under: pic updated every two seconds (Sponsor) Webcam is places at a feed in the middle of Sweden, it attracts mostly vildboar however the patient person might get to the other game and wildlife to. Times when the feeder goes of are considered hot periods and chances of spotting game are higher. Feeder spreads at eight, nine thirty and eleven. Height to the first cross beam on the feeder stand is 63 cm or about 25 inches. End text. A feeder that size only need refilling about once in two weeks or so depending on feed size. Considered a good thing here in Sweden. Best regards Chris

when i drive across the border, and across Sweden i drive through Arjeplog, Arvidsjaur and Skellefteå, how far south do i need to go to be able to hunt wildboars?
|

I reckon you would need to drive down to Smaaland. That,s a long drive!! I have a contact near Vaxjo,1250SE a night for highseat work. That includes acc.in a hunting hut[well equipped]. I was there 2 years ago, lots of boar, superb roedeer.

Steffen, Sika is somewhat right, in småland, the population of boar is strong and all over, as one reaches Stockholm, 300 k north there are places with boar, lots of them, but they are local. yet further up north they are not to be found yet. So starting in Skellefteå, you would have to travel some 900 km to get here, oh btw did I mention that Sweden is a looong country?! Best regards Chris

and according to map24, its about 500km from here to Skellefteå. that would be a total of 1400km, it is a good drive, but not unbearable. (a friend and i drove 3000km in a weekend when we went to a Stones-concert) but lets not forget how fun it is to be in Sweden, especially when you can stop on every kiosk to buy stuff, and to drive on E4 is simply paradise.

They are beginning to cause problems in Leksand: http://www.map24.com/search?q=m24flnlFR7MvZGla52x9qJT19...Ig_FzeqkOrC64GYvpGVI Have my hunting grounds in Orsa: http://www.map24.com/search?q=m24flnlFR7MvZHAe7ixxnKDV9...PumLtA9T7S0dB4I7uZjs ... so maybe in 5-10 years we can get something to hunt now that the wolves and bears have more or less wiped out moose and roedeer! Hey, I fear that the feeder spreads a genetically modified corn! Look what happened to the boars
