I have a ZKK-600 with 7x64 tube, purchased in the early 70's. It is topped with a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 in Millet Angle Lock (high) rings. I find this platform very unstable and would like to change it to Talley QDs which raises a number of issues: 1. Is the receiver grooving same on the ZKK-600 and the CZ-550? 2. Is the bolt lift just as high on the CZ-550 as it is on ZKK? 3. If it is, what height Talleys would I need? I hope some of you gentleman have some experience with both rifles and can steer me into the right direction. Thanks: vgmhunor

Groove diameter same, heigth is medium. I would suggest the screw lock version which is like the lever version but with allen key screws. It means you can take the scope on and off without it shifting in the ring. I use these rings on my ZG47 where they allow the bolt to cycle with a swaro 6x42 nova.

Thanks for the input. I'll go with Warne's quick detach because it allowes the repositioning of the lever after tightening.

Indeed but the new Warnes are pretty ugly and heavy not to mention painted
