just home after four days hunting moose with good friends in Northern Norway.
The weather was crazy, rain, rain and rain, and wind coming from all directions.

Still we managed to put down two nice bulls.
None stopped in front of my rifle, but this is team work, and as long as the team have sucess, we are all happy hunters tu2

The youngsters really impressed me.
The boy, Sander is six years old, and he went with the dog handler (with his plastic lever action on the shoulder).
The girl, Vilde is four years, and she sat with her father when he shot the biggest bull.

Both was very inerested looking at the incestines when we gutted the bulls, and the heart made a strong impression on them, big as it was.

Vilde kicked the bull in the shoulder and said" All this good meat we shall have on our moose fest" (the moose fest is an annual party for the whole team with good eating and drinking)
These kids knows that meat comes from animals and not from the back room in some big super marked!

Anyway, great time spent with prime company Smiler

Yes Geir, we had a great time up north.
There is a good population of moose in the area, and of the five on quota, only one is left to take.

Seems to be no bears in the walley at the time, which means that the moose stays in the area.
Once they smell bear or are beeing chased, they scatter all over the place.
