Alex, Sorry about being so curse last night. I layed down for three hours to get up at 03:00 to go hunting. A couple of options: 1. The best is I know an auto painter - an absolute wealth of knowledge on painting things synthetic & (what we're looking for) a paint job that's durable & long-lasting. Ask around. you may get lucky and find an auto-painter that won't flip out (A What!) when you ask the question..... 2. There are even in conservative old Europe, a very few gunsmiths who have specialized in painting stocks - primarily for the Air Rifle crowd. They're good but be sure to show up with VERY deep pockets = $$$$$. 3. The best option is to do it yourself. That way you get what you want, the way you want it. I've done a couple and find the key ingredient is patience. that combined with some guidance from the "Gunsmithing" guys who know alot more about which particular brands of paints, primer ect. to use ought to make it pretty straightforward. Good Luck with your project. Cheers, Number 10 | |||
