They're a very specialized trophy and the hunting for them is tightly regulated. Here's an article from the Hunting Report about this unique animal.

Great ibex, this looks like a good sized bezoar ibex, let alone a kri-kri.

I remember reading Craig Boddingtons article.
If I remember right he hunted on one of the greek islands. And I think there's certain restrictions regarding weapons there.
Shotguns only (rifled slug bore) and no scopes allowed.
Beautiful animals, btw! Thanks for sharing.

That's right Anders,

No rifles allowed so shotgun slugs are the alternative. Craig's been postingon the site recently so perhaps he can chime in with some mnore direct information if he sees the thread.
