I recently purchased some 18,5g Lapua ammunition in 9,3x62 and was wondering if anyone has personal experience with the ammunition in regards to performance on large game animals and also leopard. It shoots very well in my guns.

Use it all the time in my 9,3 x 62 mm too. Shoots better than average. What I have shot with it works flawlessly. I would not hesitate to use it in Africa Aleko

HI there! I use Lapua Mega 18,5 grams bullet in my Huskey 9,3x57. I hunt moose and roedeer. It's a nice bullet, it fully penetrate a mooosebull. and it's not expencive. I can recommend it.

Have been using that bullet with Lapua brass, CCI primers and N140 powder for over a year, when reloading for 9,3x62 and 9,3x74R. Very accurate and an incredible wild boar stopper. Hope to use the 9,3x62 in Africa end of this year. B.Martins

Ive shot some moose and roe with that bullet and it works quite well. Since it is not a bonded bullet I have used some Woodleigh and Oryx with even better results, but thats just my opinion. Effect is really good but penetration is not the best... At least here in Sweden you can by Oryx for almost the same price and I would recommend that bullet before the Lapua.
