Mongrel little blighter got me saturday.
a very small juvenile.
missed the jewels by just over an inch.
swelling is just going down today.
Lyme disease is not prevalent in OZ , but I have a heck of a reaction when they get their jaws into me.

FWIW, I've been involved in the African hunting industry for 32 years & operated in 7 African countries in that time but have NEVER seen an area anywhere near as full of ticks as the one I've just moved into in Portugal.
