Is there any issues or permits that one needs to be aware of when traveling with firearms and making a connection in Madrid.

I am looking at flying US to S Africa with a connection in Madrid ( Continental to Madrid then Iberia to JNB ).

Has anyone had any issues with connecting through Madrid?

thanks,

Mario

CBN,

I travveled to Argentina via madrid, and there was nothing I needed, but I was able to check my baggage through.

One thing I always do regardless is when boarding my connection I give the asistant at the gate my baggage tags toi check if the rifles are loaded. This takes a minute or two but makes for a far more relaxed flight!!

Good luck on your trip,
FB
