Just by any chance has anybody got some used or new Norma 6ppc cases that they dont need. Any quantity will do.

I have 480 pieces of once fired 6mmBR Norma cases which is of no use to me. If you are coming to the AR weekend can we do a deal

Dear MODERATOR

If I am breaking the forum rules please PM me and I will remove this thread immediately.

Thanks

I hadn't realised how low on cases you were for a new rifle!

I must admit I thought I saw a bag of 6PPC USA cases at Aftabs. Not a maker I can remember but they looked good quality.

I'm afraid I only have factory ammunition and I need all of it. I think I may have a single digit number of sako 6mm PPC USA cases that were fired in another rifle that I can let you have.

I also think I know of where factory Norma 6PPC USA ammunition can be had. Drop me an e mail and I'll let you know (rare so don't want to post here!)

Great calibre. First 3 shot group from my little sporter sako went into one hole using the norma factory.

Thanks for your help have PM you

Would really appreciate a few spare cases.

BTW I knew about Norma's announcement to restart production of PPC cases before the 2010 shot show and listed the announcement on the front of their web site this morning

www.norma.cc

My first experience of the PPC was at a bench club many years ago in north america. Got the bug ever since and finally took a plunge.

It a second hand Cooper 22 with a custom shillen 23.5 inch 1 in 14 twist with a custom walbut stock and a new S & Bender Zenith scope.

It has a short LOP hence I think this will be perfect for my son's first rifle. Accuracy light good fit and builds confidence.

Here are a few pictures to share

Anybody uses a PPC for small game ?

Care to share your experience ?

No but a friend down in Cork has one and raves about its accuracy. He loves it as a foxing rifle

Thanks Adam for your cases
In the end for some reason they did not fit into my wilson dies so I could not use them
I did manage to locate 50 brand new cases.

Finally I manage to shoot this rifle after so many months of delay and GHUBERT was there to assist as well. THANKS

Yes I can confirm a PPC is dam accurate no question about that even for an average rifle shooter like me

I hope my son will like this rifle

Next thing to do is to properly bed the dam thing to stop those flyers.

That group was shot with the stock touching the side of the barrel !

Still no sign of NORMA PPC cases.

Is that the same story in other countries with norma supplies

note the velocity the flyer was 3174 fps and the others were 3244 3252 3244 !

I think this rifle will be wonderful for wolf hunting with flags this coming January

DINA left eye or right eye ?

Buy youreslf some 220 Russian cases. Fireform them - and be amazed.

you will have to neck turn after you have opened them out to 6mm - but that is one of the joys of homeloading for a ppc.

Londonhunter,

sense a little sarcasm in your relpy.
6ppc USA is a bigger case than both PPC and 220. Russian cases will blow out to fit.

I have done this for the last 10 years with my factory Sako USA, with no problems.
