Where is everyone?!?!?

I hope you aren't all doing stuff like work etc...

thursday is a day to be thinking about the potential sporting opportuinities that may come up over the weekend...

I'm out on our little syndicate shoot. We broke a record last week with 38 head, and are looking to get around that mark this week too. Then out on sunday evening to get some Sausage making ingredients in the form of a nice bit of Fallow!!

what's the rest of you planning?

FB,

You are right! This forum is far to quiet!
In my defence I can declare that I havent been doing much big game hunting lately, and thus there isnt much to report that can be considered as of interest by the majority of this forum members.
I have been hunting small game (red partridge and hare) and the hunting has been good! There are a lot of red partridges this year and our group (36 hunters) have managed to bag over 150 (as an average) for 5 Sundays straight!
I attended three of this hunting journeys and I believe I have contributed fairly to the total bag!
I love big game hunting but IMHO nothing can beat wild red partridge shooting!
I have some pictures I can post if any one wants to see how a wild partridge/hare hunting days bag looks like.

Perhaps the guys and gals are in the woods
Im back from moose / red deer hunt.
Two small moose bulls and one medium sized red stag.
One moose and the stag shot by a friend of mine with a custom Winchester in 6,5-06, and the second moose by me and my 35 Whelen.
Off again for some more red deer hunting this weekend.
And there are roe hunting all the way to December 23.
Hopefully some moore to report in a while
