I can get both Norma and RWS for around AU$55 in Australia. Thats about eur35 a box. Sound about right?

Thanks for that information. I guess it's just another one of those mysteries why I can buy RWS and Norma cheaper in Australia than in Europe!

35 euro is absolutely cheap because here in Belgium you 'll pay mostly 40 up to 55 euro's a box of 20 rounds. But sometimes these bullets can be found on gun and militaria exhibitions where you can buy them a lot cheaper. [Smile]

This guy buy's and sells second hand ammo.
He sometimes has rare ammo at reasonable prices.
He speaks French but i know he speaks English and may be a bit of German too.

At these prices, I would think reloading would be quite popular in Europe. After all, one could reload any one of these cartridges for .25 euro per cartridge, once one has the brass.

I suppose that there are laws preventing people from reloading. Do hunters save their brass? Brass from the scarcer calibers could be fairly valuable here in the USA.
