Yes it is closed, OHHH yess it is closed, we finished very well I think but IT IS CLOSED !!!!!!!!

Which is the argument??? The hunting season is closed (probably, because we have some hope to hunt in Liguria Region) and I have to wait next September for a new HUNTING SEASON.

However what happened on the last week end? ooohhhh weeelll, you know, it was really cold between 2 and -2 Celsius degrees, it snowed a little on Sunday and to be short, have I ever speak...... OK OK, I was saying that in two days we bagged 14 boars (12 an 2) and my contribute has been 2 boars knocked down with two shots, one each, on Saturday.

2 of them, male, were big, more than 120kg each, and with good teeth both.

But this was yesterday ... near 10 month to the next opening, how can I survive? (ok it is a littlebit too much dramatic, but you know.....) I am already suffering from withdrawal symptoms. the previous smile illustrated my today condition, I'mgoing to be depressed I know.

And it is beginning the worst period of the year, in 12 day starting from Christmas I'll consume all the feasts: Christmas, Name Day on 26th of December, New Year, Birthday and Epiphany.

My comment Stefano ? Enjoy, enjoy !! My recipe on the other thread was simple, smoked boar hocks with white beans . Perhaps all of you would like to add recipies for Stefano's cinghiale ? ...Someone in a nearby area started to raise boar but they escaped.They then 'diappeared'. My friend just said there were people in the area who had pork in their freezers !!!

Nice trophies. Our driven hunt season closes 28. February but boar hunt is here all year around. But you can shoot only hogs or max 2 year old pigs outside driven hunt season.

I discovered that I have another day for hunting boars

On next Sunday we will hunt in Ligura Region, where wild boars hunt close at the end of January
