We are very interested in hunting Musk Ox in Greenland in August September.

Anyone with reccomendations of outfitters, preperations or what what??

I know not Greenland but I went With Chuck Gruben out of Tuktoyaktuk, North West Territories. last year. Lots of Musk Ox. 140 mile ride on a snow machine to the camp.
Chuck has barren ground grizzly too.

We are looking seriously at going with Lax-A. They have a great reputation and we have several friends that have hunted with them. Greenland is definitely a dream adventure destination plus hunting musk ox in the fall sounds so much more appealing than the spring. http://www.lax-a.net/greenland...eenland-hunting.html

A couple of my friends went last year. They booked with Joe Jakab of Point Blank Hunts and had a very good hunt.

Wow, that Lax-A operation looks superb.
At least one writer says musk ox makes excellent table fare:

I really enjoyed eating my musk ox. The meat can be a bit dry as there is no fat but cooked rare it's quite delicious.
