A few years ago I hunted the Alpine Ibex and Chamois in Switzerland. This hunt was arranged by me through the Swiss game department. I hunted in the Canton of Valais, this area is French speaking so all correspondence has to be in French, I had a French Canadian friend write the letters for me.

I had two People from the game department with me and shot an excellent Ibex and a very good Chamois. The trophy fees were less than half of what were being charged in Austria.

I did not use a guide, there was no need for one, I had two people from the game Dept. with me.

The hunt was not difficult, I got both the animals the first day.
