For next year. Wife asked me if I thought we should take the kids and go to London next spring break. It's April 3-10. I told her only if I can go and hunt for 2 nights. So the closer to London the better. So, I'm seeing what free range animals are available to hunt that time of year, and guide recommendation. Thanks.

Roe bucks will just be in season then, and you are hitting about the prime time for a quality muntjac. I'd try muntjacstalker.com if you want a really good muntjac at sensible money or Euston Estate if you want good muntjac and a nice roe. The East of England has great muntjac and nice representative roe, but you would do well to get a medal class roe. In two days of hunting you should expect to get a very good muntjac. Any queries pm me.

Woodsie, It depends what part of London you are in as to which area is easiest to get to. Like any city a few miles can make the difference of an hour or so extra travel. Pm me your location etc and I will be happy to point you towards something useful. Closest to London, your best bet will be some fallow stalking. Good heads are difficult at his time of the year as They start to cast, but if you want to just go and hunt, then it is a fine time. There are also some roe bucks that might oblige I may be around or I may be back in Scotland. If I'm in town we can always hook up f or a beer if time allows. Rgds, K
