My minister is finalizing our next hunting trip to Austria. I left a fallow deer over there. We will be traveling Delta from Northern Ky/Cinnci to CDG Airport in Paris, France, Airfrance (Delta's Euro partner). In 2014 we did this trip checking my rifle with customs on arrival, three nights in Paris, reclaim rifle at aAirport customs, onto Airfrance with deceleration form with no issue. This year we will not being side tripping Paris; just a 3 hour lay over once off Delta then on to Airfrance. Since the terror attacks has anything changed for traveling with rifle through CDG Airport or Airfrance? Any knowledge is much appreciated. Thank you kindly.

If you are flying AF you have to give them all your gun details and make sure they stamp your itinerary with their OK. Not sure what it is called, but there is a word for this approval stamp. Your guns should be checked straight through from the States so you wont see them in Paris. I always ask them to check if my guns and bags are loaded on to the next flight at the gate before boarding. No other issues. Arjun

Thank you Reddy375. I am surprised (happy) that nothing has changed. I will check at the gate as you have suggestions as well.
